Hue Dex

Each round shows a Pokémon with one of its colors swapped for another.

Drag the R, G and B sliders, or switch to the color wheel, until it looks right again. The picture updates as you go.

Lock it in to see yours and the real color side by side, and score up to 100 points for how close you got.

Stuck? Take a hint, up to three a round: first what kind of color it is, then how far off you are as you slide, then one of R, G and B set right. Each hint costs 10 points.

Points go down the more different the two colors look to the eye (shown as ΔE). Under 2 you'd barely notice, 10 is clearly off, and 40 or more is a different color.

Daily is the same five Pokémon for everyone, new each day. Practice is as many games as you like, from the generations you pick.
